About the Role:
We're hiring a contract SEO Specialist to support organic search execution — technical SEO, on- page optimization, keyword research, and AI-search visibility tasks — for a defined 9–10 month engagement. This is a hands-on execution role: you'll work from priorities and strategy set by senior stakeholders, and take ownership of doing the day-to-day work well, not setting direction. You'll also handle light reporting and tracking to support performance visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap analysis to support the content roadmap
- Support technical SEO audits — site speed, crawlability, indexing, schema markup, Core Web Vitals — and help implement fixes as directed
- Execute on-page SEO optimization: metadata, internal linking, content structure updates
- Support AEO/AIO execution — implementing content structuring guidance (direct-answer blocks, FAQ schema, definitional formatting) to improve placement in Google AI
